Rubberlining
Linatex for lining. Better rubber, better results. Linatex for slurry
pumps, valves, hoses, screens, classifiers, and cyclones. Linatex
rubber combines resilience together with cut, tear and abrasion
resistance and has proven itself as the market leader in the mining
and quarrying industries.

Autoclave Cure
In addition to cold bonded linings Applied Conveyor is able to provide
Autoclave cured linings in both Auckland and Oamaru. The Autoclave
allows us to rubber line difficult shapes, chutes, pipes and hoppers
with superior bond strengths and rubber thicknesses.

Drum Lagging

Ceramic Lagging

When conventional rubber lagging fails to correct belt slippage, the
solution is Flex-Lag Ceramic Tile Lagging. The Ceramic Tile Lagging
features the highest coefficient of friction available in lagging materials
- two to three times the friction of rubber in wet, muddy or dry conditions.
Ceramic tiles consisting of a raised profile pattern of buttons are moulded
into a durable rubber backing. Under normal belt compression, thousands
of moulded ceramic buttons embed themselves into the belt's underside, providing positive, non-abrasive traction. The raised pattern of our ceramic surface features a unique design that eliminates the sharp particles and abrasive edges associated with other styles of ceramic lagging.

Rubber Lagging

Flexco makes it easy to find the pulley lagging you need to eliminate belt
slippage, increase pulley life, improve water shedding, and boost
productivity. Plus, these benefits are achieved without removing the pulley
from your conveyor system! Flex-Lag application requires only a time- and
labour-saving cold vulcanization process; so it installs easily on-site.

Flex-Lag Diamond-Pattern Rubber Lagging is a high-durometer rubber for abrasion resistance and water-shedding. Based on the design of treads used for rain tyres, the diamond pattern splits the film of water and deflects it into lateral, or diamond-shaped grooves, away from the pulleys. A high coefficient of friction, combined with exceptional water-shedding capabilities, helps keep belt slippage to the absolute minimum.

Flex-Lag Plain-Pattern Lagging helps prevent belt slippage in the dirtiest environments. Rubber flexes during use, shedding excess material, preventing build-up, and preventing premature belt and pulley wear. Horizontal grooves between plain rubber strips trap and deflect water from the pulleys. This results in a coefficient of friction vastly superior to plain sheet-type lagging.

Flex-Lag Light-Duty Lagging is ideal for compact pulleys and most light-duty applications. Specially designed for pulleys having diameters as small as 2" (50mm). Moisture is channeled between small raised buttons that support and grip the belt, delivering the extra traction to drive
your belt.

Ceramics
We are able to offer a range of basalt, zirconium corundum, high alumina ceramic and silica carbide ceramic linings. These linings offer extremely high abrasion resistance and at temperatures up to 100deg C.

Wear Resistant Liners

Features bulk material movement involving sliding, very often causes heavy wear of the equipment used, resulting in damage to equipment, lower
reliability, production losses, and lower capacity utilization. Installation of ceramic liners is a solution, and is a necessity where equipment availability and low operating costs are essential.

CUMI manufactures weldable and pastable alumina ceramic tiles that can be bonded onto the surface to be protected from wear. Apart from standard sizes, we offer both types of tiles pre-engineered to suit specific equipment. CAD is used to ensure a good fit for the contours of the lining surface.CUMI's pre-engineered tiles optimize the lining life and facilitate the best possible lining, even for complex profiles.

Typical Applications
Power Generation, Coal Mill (Inner Cone, Multiport Outlet Valve, Mill
Discharge Valve, Mill Inner Dia Lining, Orifices, Ventury Vanes), Bends
(Tranisitions & Y- Pieces), Ash Handling (Bends & Slurry Pipes)

Lined Equipment

Features CUMI offers fabricated steel lined pipes with ceramics as per customers' requirement. Both the steel and ceramic are designed together, ensuring a proper fit. The lining is then completed at our well equipped
facility, resulting in the best possible lining quality among all wear products.

Ceramic lined equipment is reliable, rugged, ready to install, facilitates
quick replacement, and gives a trouble-free life.

Typical Applications

- Cyclone separators used in coal washeries and mineral handling are
ttsubject to severe abrasion and suffer heavy wear. Our cyclones and
ttcyclone components are your best option for low downtime, high reliability
ttand consistent performance throughout its long life.
- Pulverized fuel bends
- Cement industry

Polyurethane
We offer a range of polyurethane products suitable for industrial and mining
applications. Linings for chutes and pipes, mouldings, bushes and other
conveyor components.

Typical Applications
Ideal for heavy duty applications due to the ability to absorb major impact
and resist cutting; Uses include: Forktruck wheels, printing rollers, drive
rollers, scraper blades, coatings, bushes, wheels, dump stops, precision
moulding, etc
.
